2020 is a year that will forever be remembered by us all. On January 21st, the Coronavirus hit the United States, and changed our lives forever. On September 16 th, Hurricane Sally hit Gulf Shores, Alabama and introduced herself to COVID -19. Sally produced widespread wind, storm surge, and coastal flooding along coastal Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle and caused extensive damage to condos, houses, boats, and businesses. Restaurants and foodservice businesses were some of the first economic activities severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Sally compounded the problems they were already experiencing.
